Beginner Classes

BEGINNER CLASS OFFERED!!

Hunterdon Rug Artisans' Guild offers beginner classes periodically throughout the year. If you are interested, please contact our training Coordinator, Therese Shick at jo.handhooked.rugs@gmail.com

In addition, a beginners' class will be given on Wednesday morning, August 2, 2023 from 9 to 12 a.m at the guild's annual Rug School. The cost is $75.00. If you are interested in learning traditional rug hooking at this class, please contact Weezie Huntington at weezie.huntington@gmail.com for information. (Please put "rug school" in the subject line for faster attention). The instructor is nationally-recognized and anyone interested in learning this fiber art is invited. Participants should bring a sharp pair of scissors. All other materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring lunch and stay for the afternoon to hook & visit with guild members. Pre-registration is required so we have enough supplies on hand.
